Andrew and Kara grew up in South Carolina and North Carolina. They felt called to move with their four children to Kansas in 2018. They became the lead pastors at LWC in 2020. They have fallen in love with LWC and all things rural Kansas (except Kara's disdain for dirt roads)and want to see the church grow and make disciples.
Steve McVey
Rural Missions Pastor, Founder of Dirt Roads Network
Steve moved to Lamont in 2000. He was the lead pastor until 2020 when he founded Dirt Road Network. He is still a vital part of LWC as he leads us to continue planting and supporting the rural church nation wide.
Sarah Luthi
Student Ministries Pastor
Sarah moved to Madison when she married her husband Dallas over 20 years ago. She is an amazing leader in our community. She became our student ministries pastor in 2022 and loves to build relationship with teens that help them build their relationship with Jesus.
Nancy Smith
Administrative Assistant
Nancy is the background person that keeps everything going. Her and her husband Chuck have attended LWC for 25 years. She loves the church and works tirelessly to make sure it is ran smoothly.
